The mod is being updated so no public download is available at this moment, the mod does rely on a connection to a MySQL database anyway so it's not playable by itself without such. So far in the history of this mod we have been using one database for everyone, so that means the server hosts must request connection to this database ;)

Hello there. Great work on the server, keeping Q2 alive for so long. PlayGround is the best FFA DM server there has been for many years!
It's hard to imagine any Q2 server being as lively in 2010, but yours truly is.
As someone who still enjoys Q2 and especially FFA I come to show you Q2FFA taken to the next level, in the mod: KOTS
It's an RPG-style mod (Diablo+Quake!) where you have a character and gain levels that lets you upgrade weapons and special abilities like fly, hook, cloak and such.

We will be doing a character reset in the very near future (all start at level 0 again) and wonder if the russian community would be interested in joining us and hosting a server?

Alright. I am familiar with D2Loader but I think it is more related to cheats than a modified d2gfx.dll. But as long as I don't get banned its fine!

Thank for your replies so far. The purpose of the d2gfx.dll is for me to open more than one diablo 2 window. This way I can put more characters in my game. More characters in game means more exp and more drops. I hope you understand the concept :)

I am a player from Denmark who came across your server. I am always looking for new places to play D2 in the legit way, so I thought I visit you russians :)
I have a few questions before I start though:

1) Is edited d2gfx.dll allowed so I can put "filler" chars for more exp/drops?
2) How does the diablo clone/world event work here? What items must you sell and how many?
3) How does the uber tristram event work here? Is it the same as in single player with plugy where the bosses cannot spawn minions?
